This was previously a kitchen wall with a small door that lead to an uncovered patio.

In order to install this beautiful l 14' x 9' 4 Panel Multi-Slide Door this exterior wall was removed. Foundation and structural enhancements were made to safely support and distribute the load across the span of this opening and extend the roof line with engineered lumber, beams and concrete footings.

Electrical enhancements and additions included recessed lights in the ship lap, along with a heater and fan to make this outdoor space enjoyable year round.

The original layout of this 1960s home was an enclosed service kitchen with a separate dining room. We removed two interior walls for this open concept and installed support beams and skylights and replaced the garden window with a slider.
